Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom we focus on their plans after high school, MLL's are not given the same opportunities due to the language barrier. My class brings a whole new realistic outlook to their future. They create various projects about their future career goals. Students have not been able to reach their full potential due to the lack of school supplies. My MLL's are worth it and should be given the same opportunities as everyone else. They deserve a future too.

My students come from low-income housing, all my students are English Learners, and struggle to acquire the necessary language skills.

When asked about education at home, most of my students have informed me that they simply do not have any materials at home. Providing the students with all these school materials will allow the students to reach their full potential. By having these supplies students can create their path to success.

My students are the teachers in our classroom. I would love everyone to see their learnings through their eyes. The materials I have asked for will allow students to create presentations and share them across the school. My goal is to give students access to an effective learning environment.
