Our school is a public high school to 1800 students. All our students come from diverse backgrounds but we want all our students to be able to have the same experience by providing supplies and equipment they may not have available to them without having a supply at school.
Seeing the world through a different view point is a wonderful opportunity and experience.
The more chances students are able to have the means to do so at their fingertips the more chances they can see the world through different eyes and see the beauty all around us.
My Project
In digital photography we are lucky if students have access to their own cameras. We have fundraised to be able to provide half a classroom set of cameras. They currently have access to one lens and it would be wonderful have more options available for them to use.
This project has four different lens so that students will have the opportunity to experience the world through many different eyes.
The telephoto lens allows for sport photography and being able to zoom in on the action. The macro lens gives students the chance to get up and close with the subject and truly see all aspects of what they are photographing. The fix set lens adds an extra element for students to challenge themselves to the next level of having the new experience into their photos and learning.
