Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach moderate to severe students in a cluster program. I work with a variety of intellectual, physical and visually impaired students. Some of the students are learning how to read. Some of the students are learning sounds, and a couple of students are learning life skills that will prepare them for their future. Working with Special needs students is such a wonderful feeling. Most of my students have sibling-like relationships due to them being together for a few years. My students have a high interest in electronics. They are able to be independent as they embrace learning.

My students are enthusiastic, inquisitive, and all around good students who are always happy and ready for new adventures.

We are a small family inside our room. We have a love for learning. The students need to be prepared for the changes the future will bring.

My Project

The students are ready to improve their classroom news reports. The best way to add more fascinating materials is through video. Having a video recorder could help make our goal a reality. The impact of this recorder could produce the next best Hollywood director. Each student could showcase their talent by recording what inspires them and sharing it with their classmates. I can already see the impact that would have on them. This video recorder will bring on independence while promoting self-growth. The video recorder will take on a major role in helping to create fun while learning. Awesome!
