This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 16 wonderful students who come to school eager to learn everyday! In our classroom, we love hands on activities and group work when it is safe to be together. My students are always engaged and excited about the next thing we are going to learn. My students treat each other like family and always encourage and motivate one another. The parents are very supportive as well. I am very lucky to be their first grade teacher.

My Project

This air purifier will help keep my student in school with a clean learning environment. Due to covid, I have had several students out. We also have to keep our classroom door closed due to fire hazards. So there isn't any air flow throughout the classroom. I'm hoping this air purifier will help keep the classroom clean for my students.

I was trying to think what would be best for my students to keep them in class and I think this would help keep our environment clean and healthy.
