My amazing students come from multiple cities around the school. They enter the school every day and are energetic and ambitious to learn. They never let their home atmosphere stop them from becoming lifelong learners. I want to be able to say I gave each child who came into my classroom, everything they needed in order to be successful. My students attend a creative arts, public, charter school, and I aim to give each child opportunities to excel inside and outside of the classroom.
My Project
My volleyball players have worked hard to raise money for extra materials to help them become better players on and off the court. We have worked from the bottom to not having any volleyballs, nets, or training equipment to now being able to practice and support 3 teams.
It is my hope to raise funds for the lady wildcat volleyball team to look unified at all levels of play.
It will give them a sense of ownership and pride in the school sports that they play. The student-athletes have worked hard to keep their grades up and stay active within the school. The new athletic gear will make the players feel important and proud to represent their school with pride. It will also give the volleyball players who are less fortunate an opportunity to look like the rest of the team.
