I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math in the Response to Intervention program. In addition, I also teach 7th grade math. Students enjoy engaging lessons and master information when they are fully engaged.
My students are hard-working and innovative with different learning styles.
This means that I need to have multiple approaches to math. They view all kinds of material differently, which in turn helps their peers develop better thinking skills. They are destined for great things with technology!
I have requested 20 Fire tablets, cases, screen protectors, and a charging station which will help enrich the learning experiences for my students by allowing more opportunities for engaging lessons through the use of technology. Our district and our students are still rebuilding from Hurricane Harvey, and these tablets will go a long way with building our technology supply.
Kindle Fires will allow my classes to engage in activities that catch their attention and provide meaningful collaboration.
