This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Successful educators know that we need to work on engaging all types of learners. Being able to move around during the day and find comfortable places in the room to work and focus is vitally important for a successful working environment!

My classroom is filled with 25 bright, interested, vocal, and active fourth graders, who absolutely love to learn!

My Project

Our busy classroom has many different areas to work in and has a variety of seating options so that we can be as comfortable as possible. However, our "high top" table needs useful, appropriate chairs where the students can be at ease, but also be safe and secure.

These chairs will offer another choice for students to spread out in the classroom environment and get down to the business of learning.

Working together in different areas of the room allows for individualized and group work, depending on what the activity calls for and what the students are most comfortable with.
