My Students

My students are our future leaders! They are talented, creative, driven, and so much more. Their struggles come because they come from low economic homes. This doesn't stop them from doing their best and achieving their goals, but it does mean they have to work harder than others might.

My students deserve so much more than our community has to offer for them.

I want to give them the world. I want to give them the desire to explore and create and invent to their hearts desire.

I want my classroom to be the place where their economic status doesn't matter. Where they are not limited by where they live or the money they have. I want my classroom to be a safe haven for them to come to when they don't have any other safe places to go.

My students mean the world to me and I don't ever want to let them down.

My Project

Nearly all students learn better and remember more when they are having fun! We would like to give our students the opportunity to do that in social studies. We want them to explore the past and see how much we, as a state, have grown.

Our students come from less fortunate homes and don't have opportunities to visit these places on their own.

I don't want my students to miss out on any learning because of their home situation. My students are bright! with our help they can accomplish so much. I want them to be able to explore and learn from their own experiences instead of just from a book.
