My Students

My students are inquisitive, thoughtful and motivated to learn! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! As a looping class, we have learned how to respect and encourage one another over the years allowing us to push each other into our full potential.

They come to school each day ready to tackle new problems and use inquiry learning to discover positive solutions.

They are truly my inspiration!

My Project

This year as we study rocks and minerals found in the Earth I would love to take my students on an exciting adventure past your everyday fools gold. These science kits will allow my students to explore how some of Earth's most beautiful features grow and develop. Giving my students their very own geode will allow them to have ownership of their learning and make personal connections. We're walking away from the videos and getting our hands dirty as we bust open our geodes! Growing our own crystals will allow them to witness first hand how the Earth's natural forces come together to make something memorizing!
