My students are a creative bunch of kiddos, who enjoy fun, exciting, creative, unique, and "out-of-the-box" ways of learning. They are a very enthusiastic and involved group of children who demonstrate their learning in very creative ways. They are also a very smart but busy group and are constantly excited to learn and always want to learn new things. However, their busy bodies get in the way, and they sometimes have a hard time keeping their self-control. They love being able to apply their learning technologically.
My Project
Having Osmo - Little Genius Sticks & Rings, and Osmo - Little Genius Costumepiece in our classroom will provide my students to expand their skills in areas of fine motor, creativity, following directions, and much more. Students will be able to build letters using sticks and curves as well as dress up characters for imagination and creativity. Using these materials in the classroom will entice the littlest of learners to build their fine motor skills and practice skills that are extremely important in the kindergarten grade level. The materials are easy enough to use independently and interesting enough to entice them to continue their learning in a fun and interesting way.
