This Is Me

Help me give my students blank books to create a project that my prior students loved doing. They created a book about themselves and loved it so I want to keep doing this project with my future students.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With all the time students spend on their phones/computers technology in general, I wanted to do a project with them that lets them be more creative. I teach Spanish and I want to work on a project where they create a book about themselves. That is why I am requesting blank books. Each page will focus on different parts of their life and themselves. This will not only allow them to express themselves, it will allow me to get to know them better and their stories. I also feel like it is a great way for them to learn and be able to see their growth in learning as they create this project. I'm really excited to do this with them and I hope I get the opportunity to do so. I teach multiple grades and classes and I don't want to have to pick which class I can do this project with since the books are costly to get. Thank you for considering this project.
