My Students

My students come from all over the community surrounding the school. Our school is quietly nestled in a suburban neighborhood. Their backgrounds, ethnicities, and religions are all different, but their love for one another is the same.

These students are special because they genuinely care for one another.

They are sweet, kind people who celebrate each other's successes and sympathize in one another's sadness. It is very rare that you see any of them standing alone, they support each other. They are proud and excited to learn each day. Their energy and enthusiasm are​ contagious.

My Project

I will use Lego WeDo 2.0 to enrich my students' learning. While some students receive intervention services, other students can be challenged to bring their STEM knowledge and coding to life. My students will use their problem-solving skills to ask questions and design their own solutions. Students will collaborate to build the Design Thinking Model and use the software.

This project will improve my classroom because it will give my students the opportunity to use a hands-on program to increase their logical reasoning.

It will enhance their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and coding. This will give them the coding experience beyond the screen.
