My students never cease to amaze me! Their positivity and curiosity have no end, and I love seeing how much they grow and change throughout the year. I love the school I teach at; we have a lot of autonomy as educators, and I want my students to feel the same way. I try to empower them by giving them choices wherever I can. We strive to build classroom unity and find ways to build each other up. I'm always impressed with how much they go out of their way to help each other and create a safe environment for one another.
My students are special and unique, and so are their needs.
They are determined and hard-working; they persevere inside and outside of the classroom. I could go on and on about how wonderful they are. Really, I just want them to have the best because they are the best.
My Project
My students are an inquisitive bunch, whose needs vary. I try my very best to give my students a welcoming environment that makes them feel like they are at home. While I love being creative and enjoy the time I send on my classroom, I would love some tools to help make this process a little bit quicker in the future. With a new Cricut, I will be able to decorate my room, create art projects for my students, and enhance each subject with visual materials.
All of the materials we receive will be used to help with different learning needs, and build classroom unity.
The books we receive will be used to examine differences in people and understand the importance of accepting others as they are. My students LOVE read aloud, and I'm always inspired by their sympathy and empathy towards characters who they find a connection with.
In addition to a creative, thoughtful environment, I want my students to have new whiteboards to enhance their individual learning experiences. We use our whiteboards in every subject; most often in Math. Our current bunch of whiteboards are old and well loved. They increase engagement, and my students would put new boards to good use.
