My Students

I have 26 amazingly wonderful and diverse third grade students, who are ready to be challenged and learn in a technology based classroom.

Our class has a broad array of learning levels and styles.

I have students that are excelling in math, reading and writing who are anxious to be challenged and continue to grow. I have students that are in need of resource in math and reading, who need individualized instruction and positive rewards for each success.

My Project

If we had a set of iPod touches it would fill the need for ALL of my students. It would allow them to grow and achieve at their pace and level. Students could listen to podcasts, participate in online learning communities, use the Internet for research, watch curriculum integrated videos, read online books, and use a variety of apps created to enhance math, reading and writing.

I only have four computers for my class of 26 students to share.

If we receive funding for four iPod touches that would double the opportunity for my students to use technology in their learning each day. I appreciate DonorsChoose and YOU for helping our class to reach their highest potential.
