I am fortunate to have an amazing third grade teaching job in a low-economic school.
My school aims to provide every child with the educational skills needed for academic and career success. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, resources at our school site are outdated. My class library needs to be updated. The current books we have lack color, excitement, and stories that my students are interested in reading. Although we may not have the funds needed, my students deserve quality reading books!
My Project
Imagine walking into our classroom where each child is immersed in their favorite book. Slow rumbles of laughter and gasps fill the air as students flip eagerly through the pages. This is what I envision for my students. Your generous donation will allow each child that walks through the door to have access to engaging stories.
