My students need an authentic experience to apply what they are learning in their classroom to contexts beyond our school in the community. They need a trip to the Field Museum in Chicago.

My Students

We are a classroom full of learners, explorers, and problem-solvers!

My third grade students are a kind-hearted bunch of vivacious and fun-loving learners who flourish when given unique opportunities to explore the world in a variety of ways outside of the "traditional" means, especially when it involves technology, workshops, and much, much more.

My Project

If provided with the opportunity to take an outing to the Field Museum in Chicago, my students would be able to take what they have learned in the classroom, especially in our social studies class, and apply and expand their knowledge to a real-world context.

Participating in a field trip to the Field Museum would provide students with the opportunity to build their understanding of the past and the present to help shape their interest and future learning.
