Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from a low-income community. We have little parental support and students often do not come to school with all the tools needed for classwork. When it comes to home libraries, most of them do not have books to read from home.

My Project

These products will be used by all students in our school library. Teachers and students can design new tools to use to expand learning creatively.

Students will be able to explore new ideas and develop new products to help service others.

They can create visuals to enhance their comprehension skills and reading experience. The success rate is endless when students take charge of their own learning. The imagination is endless and success is reached when students take charge of the learning process. I can't wait to learn from my students through the objects they create.
