Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are all low socioeconomic status. During distance learning, I have been blessed to be able to provide them each an iPad (purchasing all over the course of the last 3 years), but they lack additional supplies to complete their assignments, such as pens, paper, colors, markers, puzzles and educational games. I buy many of my own supplies for the classroom that the school budget does not allow for, but during this time I cannot afford to provide these extra things to keep their education going. I would love some help right now. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!
My Project
My students are all from very low income families and lack the basic supplies to even complete a simple art assignment. Although I try and provide supplies out of my own pocket, I can’t afford to do it for all my students. These supplies would help them complete their assignments, as well as have a little educational fun. Thank you in advance for any help and supplies that you can provide these special needs students! They are all very well behaved, maintain good grades, participate in Special Olympics and are all around great kids!!
