My students need materials to learn their letters and beginning sounds while also helping their fine motor skills.
They also need the magnetic blocks for the science center to help them create and discover magnets.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students come from a low-income inner-city area that does not have the resources they need for a positive learning environment. It is my goal to create this at school. I pride myself on gaining my students' trust and providing them with everything they need to succeed in Kindergarten and beyond.
My students need developmentally appropriate activities for learning letters, math, and STEM through creative hands on manipulatives and technology.
They are so grateful and appreciative of all the new materials I can provide especially when I can give them things that provide 1 on 1 interaction.
My Project
If our project is fully funded, these materials will go to smart, fun-loving kids who deserve every opportunity given to them. They will be so excited to have tablets in the classroom to practice skills they need to go into Kindergarten.
My students are so willing to learn and enjoy learning new concepts, especially new letters and sounds.
The alphabet activities will give them another hands-on way to learn they letter and sounds, which is the first step to learning to read and being successful leaders.
We appreciate any donation you can give and know they are going to great kids!
