My students need copies and various resources. We have limited copies at our school, which is a Title I funded school. We need ink to be able to provide them resources.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We have eager scholars who want to learn, but do not always have the resources.
Our students live in rural South Carolina and attend a Title I funded school.
All of our students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. The students are willing to learn, but are not provided with all of the resources and all of the opportunities for success.
My Project
We plan to use this ink to help provide handouts, notes, resources, projects and activities to our students. We do not have ink at our school. and we lack copies due to funding. Since we cannot make copies, our students often have to waste learning time copying down questions. By copying down work, we lose valuable learning time that will be better utilized once we can provide copies to all of our students.
This project will improve our classroom by providing resources and access to our students.
Our students deserve the same opportunities as everyone else, and lack of materials and resources should not hold them back from succeeding to their full potential.
