This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Busy, busy, busy!! These words describe our day! We are busy diving into the Florida state standards! We are learning how to comprehend text, and understand what we are reading!

2nd grade is a fun and exciting year!

Kids are eager to learn and face the new challenges before them! My students need a hands on approach, to help them understand skills we are learning! As we rotate through centers, students love that they are able to work independently!

My Project

Students will use these centers to help reinforce skills taught in class! With the new Florida state standards, children need to build independence as they prepare for standardize testing! They will not only build on their skills, but also challenge them to go to a different level!

This project will help students become stronger readers.

It will also help them become critical readers. The skills that students will build will be skills that will help carry them throughout their education!
