My Students

I have the privilege of teaching a fantastic group of curious students who are in need of experiences to allow them to develop collaborative and problem solving skills.

I want to expand their worlds and open their eyes to the possibilities that are out there for them and their futures.

Many of them only see the world as their small neighborhood. I want to open them to a larger world of experiences. To have them think bigger and further. To have big dreams and to go for them.

I hope to plant the seeds that will grow and flourish into huge amazing dreams in my students. I want to one day read about a former student who invented something or started their own business.

My Project

The use of Ozobot Evo robots will give my students hands on experience with coding and problem solving in an engaging way with immediate feedback.

They will be able to compete in robot challenges that the students themselves create.

They will be able design activities and projects to explore different grade level standards such as force and motion.

They will learn that they need to persevere when things don't work out the first time they try something. Hopefully they will realize they learn more from their mistakes and failures, than through their successes. They will learn plan, test, revise, and retest until they get their desired result.
