I am excited to be providing educational experiences to at-risk four- and five-year-old children in a free pre-kindergarten classroom. These kiddos are creative, curious, and eager to learn. Many of our students are overcoming odds, as all of our students come from low-income households and many come from traumatic backgrounds.
We strive to provide opportunities that our at-risk students may not otherwise have or be able to enjoy.
We are eager to create life-long learners through thoughtful instruction and materials, both in our indoor and outdoor classrooms.
My Project
In the crazy world that we live in, we need to make sure that our children are staying healthy. The number one indicator of Covid-19 in children is a fever. In order to determine if a child has a fever, we need a thermometer that is accurate. The probe covers will help us keep the thermometer probe clean, and the batteries will allow us to keep the thermometer working accurately for everyone's safety. This thermometer, probe covers, and batteries will be enough for our entire site and not just our classroom.
