I am a kindergarten teacher at PS 104 in Brooklyn. I have 27 individual learners ready to find out about homes for different individuals. Our social studies curriculum deals with the study of different homes for different communities. I would love to take my class on a tour to see how people live in other places of the world. The Brooklyn Children's Museum has a wonderful workshop called "Home Sweet Home". This workshop would give the children a chance to explore how homes fit the needs of a community. They would get a chance to see some examples of different types of houses around the world. I think it would be a wonderful experience to take a look at what exists outside their own community. I hope you can help my kindergarten class see the true meaning of "There's No Place Like Home". Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal.
