My Students

My students are bold, creative and filled with personality! They are full of energy and also share a love for learning. My students also struggle with learning disabilities on a daily basis. In my classroom, I serve students with autism, those with mild to moderate disabilities and many with attention deficits. We support inclusive practices at our school, but many students still benefit from individualized instruction in my classroom.

Learning looks different for every student.

Although my students coming from low income families, diverse backgrounds and struggling family dynamics, most of my students also struggle to pay attention. This can be a daily battle. They can certainly make me crazy, but their abilities and ideas amaze me. They bring a beautiful richness to my life and make me want to be a better teacher!

My Project

These headsets will be a savior to my students. All of us are at home learning, but not all of us have the tools to be successful. Many of my students come from low income families and cannot afford a headset for distance learning and video calls.

Every child deserves the chance to be heard and listen effectively to what is being taught.

Learning from home is not ideal and my students additionally have the challenge of mild learning disabilities.

With these headsets, students will no longer be left out.
