My Students

The school that I teach in is a Title I school in Kanawha County. Some of the students in my school face poverty on a daily basis. I have students being raised by grandparents, aunts/uncles, foster parents, etc. We have a loving school who put our students first. Our school is also a free lunch and breakfast school.

I will have around 20 students in my classroom each school year.

My students are eager and ready to learn! For some, my classroom and the school are their safe haven. I come to school every day ready to make my kids feel special, loved, and to make sure they receive the best education I can provide.

My Project

All of my students need headphones to use in order to complete many assignments. Some of our testing requires our students to listen to a passage being read or gives verbal instructions. The noise level can get very high when all students are trying to listen at once. Headphones also help the students concentrate so that they can drown out the background noises.

By providing my students with headphones, they will be able to be more successful while learning.

They will be able to use these in all subjects for a variety of learning. Consider helping my wonderful students out!
