My Students

Each day students arrive motivated, not only academically, but also on personal levels.

My students are not only ambitious learners but come to school everyday with a desire to explore and grow!

Coming from very different backgrounds; many of which are English Language Learners, they face and overcome obstacles each and everyday. We strive to build confidence through our own individual growth, perseverance and grit! As a class, we work toward becoming a prosperous team, always working through challenges in a restorative nature. We appreciate each other for the uniqueness that each person brings to our team and we celebrate each others' success along the way!

My Project

This project will allow my students to explore topics using different perspectives. From curriculum content to community building, kindness and compassion, mentor texts have become a critical tool that enhances my students' connections to the real world.

My students learn and grow through exposure; books provide endless opportunities!

Please help my students delve into undiscovered avenues of learning by filling our bookshelf with an unique library of mentor text!

Each book selected will introduce or enhance a topic that is very important in our classroom environment. It will encourage team work, perseverance and individuality, along with building confidence and an optimal understanding of compassion and empathy.
