Our scholars are awesome! They really exemplify our core school expectations of being mindful, empathetic, leaders, and accountable. As a social work department, I service every scholar in my school in some shape or form. I work hard to meet the needs of every scholar that walks through our doors.
Through all these struggles, our scholars still come to school everyday ready to do the best they can at that moment.

My Project
These therapy tools will be used to help our scholars work through some of the most difficult situations going on in their lives. Our scholars have been hit hard this past year with very traumatic situations, and as social workers, we are trying to meet those needs. For example, we teach a lot of social skills lessons. Superflex is a research-based curriculum that our students have really enjoyed. It would be so helpful to have the other books in the series to support those lessons.
We believe our students are doing the best they can, and we would like to support those needs that they voice to us.
