Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
What makes my students special?...that is a big question! Everything about my students is special! They all have a huge heart that is so unpredictably full of love for all things in the world.
The uniqueness of my students is something to be envied.
They each have a love for something or another that I wish I could only remember and hold onto for the rest of my life. Yet the smiles and love will forever be what I carry with me!
My Project
Thematic teaching in Prekindergarten is all about the real world! It is all about the who, what, where, when, why and how. Just like most things in Prekindergarten teaching using hands on activities will always make learning fun and obtainable.
Teaching themes with hands on items brings our classroom to life and shows our students just how fun the real world can be!
Having the theme boxes would captivate the students and their learning abilities while taking them to a whole new level of learning!
Our themes of culture, dinosaurs, ocean, garden, farm, community workers, choices, all about me, changes, nutrition, family, pets, and home could come to life with more ease with the theme boxes that I am asking for.
