My students need supplies to help them start the year off as organized as possible! By supplying them with binders, pencil bags, writing supplies and labels, we'll be sure to be organized and ready to learn!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are bright and eager to learn! They are lucky to attend our school, which is a performing arts magnet school, where they are provided with many creative opportunities and experiences. My students are creative, energetic problem-solvers.
Students at our Title I school come from diverse backgrounds, but they never let their circumstances inhibit their learning.
Over 80% of students receive free breakfast and lunch daily, but our families and community are committed to our student's success. Students are chosen from a magnet lottery system and often have many artistic talents, from acting and singing to drawing, to accompany their academic mindset.
My Project
I am requesting some simple supplies that will help my new group of learners to be as organized as possible for this school year. For starters, a class set of binders will allow us to all be on the same page with our morning work, agenda, and homework from the night before! Brand new pencil pouches will allow each student to be responsible for their own pencils, erasers, scissors, and glue. Class sets of markers and crayons will allow us to be organized with our annotating while also giving the students a chance to be creative on special projects! Labels, colored paper, Velcro and other organizational pieces will allow me to organize other classroom supplies in a neat and easy way!
With your help, my students will have everything they need to start their school year off the right way.
Third grade is a great chance for students to become more independent, and having these tools will take some of that pressure off of them and allow them to be as successful as possible!
