My students attend an inner city school in a high poverty school district. We are a school that serves children in grades K-5. As a teacher in this type of learning environment, it is very difficult to compete with the other more affluent school districts.
My children are energetic, eager to learn, and willing to accept the difficult challenges that come their way.
It is because of their willingness, I have become a better teacher and want the best for their future. We are moving "Onward and Upward" to reach for the stars.
My Project
We are looking to receive Write and Wipe Chart holders for our physical education team activities. These holders will be perfect for us to work with our teammates and keep track of our activities. We also need a place to store our charts when our games are complete and we need to clean up our stations.
Social skills are very important for me to instill in my students.
With these types of supplies, the students will be able to engage in the activities while using the proper social skills that is requested of them. When the activity is complete, the teams will have a place to return their charts with the use of the paper storage containers that we are requesting in this project. Organization is key to a productive classroom.
