I have twenty-five students in my classroom. I teach in a school that is located in an impoverished area of Michigan. My students come from a wide range of backgrounds and ability levels. For some students, school is the best part of their day. I want them to have a very positive experience so the love of learning sticks with them.
My school is a Title I school, and all of my students receive free lunch.
They are eager to learn and deserve the very best opportunities we can give them!
My Project
My students love to write! Whether it is drawing pictures, practicing their letters or tracing lines, little ones need the right tools to build those fine motor skills.
Having a variety of writing tools and writing opportunities help students become better writers.
I love to give my students different pens and pencils such as golf pencils and retractable pens. Clipboards allow them to move around the classroom with ease as they create their masterpieces. It gives them exposure to different writing opportunities and builds strong muscles in those little fingers!
