Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from a variety of backgrounds. Some have never been out of the state of North Carolina and some have traveled the world. There is so much diversity! Over 50 countries are represented in our student body.

These children are thirsting for knowledge and love.

They enjoy so many different activities and all come together to form a loving and caring school environment. Through everything we work together to overcome all obstacles in our way! Through kindness and respect we can do anything!

My Project

When working in small groups, children tend to have the wiggles and be unfocused at times. These Hokki Wobble Stools will provide the needed movement to quell those wiggles.

Trying to hold a child's attention is difficult and we could use all of the help we can get!

Having these stools will keep the child's body active while their mind is focused on the task at hand. When you spend all day at school, it is hard to be still and attentive all day long. Having this resource gives me one more tool in my teaching arsenal that I can use to maintain focus on a lesson.
