My students need an art center that allows the children to express their creativity. In order to do so we need an art easel, paintbrushes, watercolor paper etc.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are not only enthusiastic about learning, but also for the time to have art in the classroom during their choice time and units of study.
In each and every little body there is an artist especially in my class.
The students are always collecting and creating things that always seem to amaze me. They are a very free spirited bunch and some come from a progressive education where the arts is very important to them.
My Project
Throughout each unit a piece of written work is asked of the students. This year I would like to incorporate art projects into these units. Of course, students would use this center independently during choice time where students are able to play and have fun. Each piece of art will be displayed periodically throughout the classroom to enforce that their hard work is valued. In order to do all these wonderful things discussed we need a easel, paintbrushes, clay tools to help sculpt, watercolor paper that would make the watercolor paint pop, card stock paper to help preserve and display the art, sponge stamps to help get there ideas flowing or just to add some pizazz to their work, and many more.
Donations will allow the class to express their artistic talent and help me to give the artistic experience to students that may lack it due to certain circumstance.
With that said, my students will receive a well rounded education and learn that all work is valued! An art center will impact my students' lives so much by giving them the opportunity to express themselves in which many struggle to show their individuality.
