My students need Time for Kids magazine to provide interactive and engaging material to complete classroom projects, improve literacy, and to explore current events around the world.
This project expired on January 2, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
We love learning! How inspired do we all get when we have the tools necessary toward success? To engage students, I incorporate an individual style of learning. Students in my class are provided high quality instruction, but we need the materials necessary to continue this consistent level of quality learning.
I recently was placed to teach Third Grade children in a highly economic disadvantaged district.
I enjoy seeing my students smile when they are engaged in their learning all year long. Providing my students with interactive material allows them to explore at their own learning pace.
My goal is to show that reading and writing is a form of expression that gives each person an individual voice.
Children are attracted to colorful, imaginative visuals which then draw them into and keep them interested in the content of an article.
Time for Kids Magazine is a perfect fit for my 3rd grade students who are intrigued by fascinating topics about the world that relates to today's events. This magazine will give our classroom an opportunity to have weekly discussions on individual ideas that will promote student questioning and opinions.
I plan to incorporate each week’s subscription into a fun filled lesson giving special attention toward the writing standard on informative text to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly.
