This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 3rd grade students are bright and curious learners. They are inquisitive, energetic and have a deep love for learning. I teach in a diverse ICT classroom with an exciting mix of interests, needs and abilities. Our school is a Title I school meaning that we have a high concentration of students living below the poverty line. Many of my students live in temporary housing and the classroom is a safe haven from their daily stress. Please consider donating to this wonderful group of children!

My Project

Integrating technology into our daily classroom routine will be a huge benefit to the varied learning styles and needs of my students.

These tablets will help our children have access to information and learning resources.

These tablets would create a quick link to the most up-to-date information on the world around them. This resource in our classroom would be used as a tool to further facilitate group work and connectivity, by opening up conversations built on research and exposure to new information. Currently, my students have very little opportunity to interact with technology. Please consider donating to our project! Giving my students access to the world, would mean the world.
