My Students
My students want to be global leaders that are connected to their community and the world around them. They are interested in how to change their world and need the opportunity to excel in fulfilling their destiny!
My students are hard workers and they have overcome diverse circumstances.
In addition, they desire to be college ready and are willing to secure their hope in a better tomorrow. They are a 5th grade bilingual class and arrive daily ready to learn.
Our school's motto is "Be responsible, Be Respectful, and be ready to learn". My class has demonstrated that from day one. They are setting the examples for the other grades in academics, behavior, and caring. As a teacher, I want them to have the resources necessary to achieve their dreams.
My Project
My students will use the Ipad mini w/ case in a variety of ways. They are learning how to do research, and will use the ipad mini in small groups, guided practice and for presentations. For presentations, the pro presenter remote will help my students to use their determination and hard work in order to professionally present their research, as well as take pride in their work ethic. In addition, the use of the mini ipad will extend beyond the walls of the classroom. Our school has a small garden and they will use the Ipad for mobilized learning. They will use the Ipad to identify and analyze nature, small group instruction, and reading groups. Our goal is to communicate that the sky is the limit to their dreams and the possibilities are endless.
The donation will help my kids deepen their knowledge as they grow in the areas of reading, writing, mathematics, and science.
Furthermore, my kids can be one step further in achieving their dreams as they can access the world at their fingertips. Far beyond the limits of their community, my students will soar in reaching their dreams of changing the world.
