The Weight Of Success

Help me give my students various weight equipment to strengthen themselves safely. We are in need to benches, weights, and safety equipment.

My Project

Our athletic program is very popular in our Title I school, but funding for things such as adequate weight equipment is not always a priority. Our weight room (used by all team sports rosters at the school) is in need of some serious love and attention.

Our student-athletes deserve to strength train and learn healthy workout routines that they can carry with them, even after high school sports are over.

Healthy habits such as strength tranining are life skills and can help teach young athletes the safe ways to use various equipment and support.

Ms. Henderson Earle High School Grades 9-12

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
