My third graders are some of the most amazing kids. They have been through the wringer when it has come to their learning journey so far, due to the global pandemic. However, these kids are resilient, hard-working, and give everything they have to make the most of each day in our classroom.
I am so lucky to be a part of their lives and believe that they deserve every opportunity I can give them while they are with me.
My Project
This will be my fourth time asking donors just like you, to help provide snacks not only for my class, but for the entire third grade cohort. It has been the best feeling to know that because of your kindness, no student has had to go a single day without a snack since school started (as other grade levels know I have snacks and will reach out when they need them as well).
Providing snacks for our students has eliminated so much stress for the students and parents, and has increased focus in our classroom since they aren't worried about where they can go to get food.
I am so excited to continue meeting this need for my students as long as they need it.
