Help me give my students a rolling cart to transport teacher and student materials from classroom to classroom, along with small magnetic white boards to hang on each cart and hooks to hang them.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach students who benefit from special education services and supports. I also teach students who need more support in the classroom to succeed for a limited amount of time due to skill deficits, long absences, or simply missing a class. My students have a range of disabilities including everything from ADHD and Autism to Specific Learning Disabilities.
My students struggle through school every day.
Having a disability makes it difficult for them to recognize their growth and potential since it is often not the same as that of their peers. However, I try to help my students experience and recognize their success so that they are willing to work harder than anyone else to continue feeling the joy of success in small ways.
I am a special education teacher who uses a push-in model for teaching. I go into different classrooms throughout the day to teach and have a lot of places to go and a lot of materials to carry around. I teach about 9 different classes every day. Right now I use plastic tubs to carry all my materials, including small whiteboards I hold up when I don't have one on the wall to use. My aides also do the same thing for their classes.
Having to carry our own materials means we are limited in our how we teach our students.
Having carts to carry all of our manipulatives, worksheets, pencils, point cards and more will allow us to bring everything we need to our classes, not just what we can carry around. Having whiteboards mounted on our carts will provide a space where we can conveniently model problems and reading when we don't have our own whiteboard in the classroom. Essentially, the traveling teacher kit will be complete!
