My Students

My school is simply incredible and I am teaching STEM K-5th grade as a new program. My students are brought up in a diverse and mixed culture. My students crave learning in all kinds of hands-on ways. They are smart and ready to learn using a variety of methods. These students make me want to do all I can to make them continue to love coming to school every day. Some rely on school as their escape, to learn and have some fun while getting a quality education. Our students love school, love learning and by providing them with meaningful experiences, their quest for knowledge can be achieved!

My Project

The kids need to learn about build, recording and analyzing data.

The Code & Go mouse kits will help my students with a hands-on tool to help them learn to code.

Materials in the STEM lab are extremely important to help students have hands-on tools to create and design. The students will code the mouse through tunnels, tracks, and roads. They will use a hands-on device to manipulate the mouse's patterns to go left, right, spin, and turn. They will be learning how to code the mouse. The coding mouse will be used in every grade level in various types of ways to enrich the older students in 3-5th grade and get hands-on experience with the younger students K-2nd.
