This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are bright, creative, and love to learn! They come to my room excited to sing, dance, and play. They sit in center groups, a circle for singing and dancing, spaced out around the room to dance, and on the carpet for lessons. We utilize the whole room.

Kids learn best when they are engaged and in charge of their own learning.

Hand-held technology, manipulatives, instruments, and hands-on activities make the music come alive. My students are eager to be the best they can be, and I'm eager to foster that love and prepare them to succeed in middle school and beyond.

My Project

This Bluetooth speaker, audio cord, and headphones will be the perfect addition to our Orff classroom. We have a Promethean board, but no sound system. We can barely hear the music! In MUSIC CLASS!!! (The Horror!) With this speaker, we will be able to hear every little thing that was recorded. Plus, with the headphones, we can convert the speakers and headphones into a fantastic listening station on days where we do centers. My students deserve a way to hear music the way it’s supposed to be heard. Please help me provide that for them.
