The Sound of the Future

Help me give my students in my Stagecraft program real life experience in recording audio and music for a variety of applications from sound designs for the school's theatrical productions to learning audio mixing and design.

My Project

The school's theatrical and Stagecraft program has been one that accepts all students and brings them together in a collaborative and professional environment. As many students struggle to find a place to fit in at the high school level, being a part of the theatre is a way for them to express themselves, build community, and learn what it means to be a part of a team. The equipment requested is to help build a recording studio in the classroom for students to produce sound designs that support our plays and musicals.

Teaching and encouraging students to find their voice, express their ideas, and share it with the world is the foundation of what Theatre Education is all about.

By providing students with quality recording equipment and a space to record, I can help them discover more non-traditional ways to grow as a thinker, creator, and inspiration.
