My Students

Our classroom is full of bright, hardworking and active children from a mostly low income background. Some can write amazing stories but cannot sit still for 5 minutes. Others are brilliant mathematicians but haven't cracked the code on reading yet. Everyone is so different and amazing in thier own way. I just cannot wait to really get to know each and everyone of them this year! My favorite thing about my class is the friendships I see already started on the first day of school. These are friendships that could last a lifetime!

My Project

In our combo first and second grade class we run on well planned stations. An excellent listening station gives students a worthy reading experience that is easily differentiated so students groups are getting the most out of this station. We currently have an old listening station so we know how much we love it-but it is missing pieces and acting funky, causing frustrating moments for students and teachers alike. This high quality listening station is easy to operate, up to date, easy to put away and brand new! We know it will make a huge difference in our morning routine!
