My Students

Our school is a small K-8 school that has the pleasure of providing education to nearly 250 students. It is a very small school setting where all staff and students get to know each other on a deeper level compared to many larger schools.

Our students come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds giving each student a unique outlook on life.

For many of our students, the hours they are in school are the only times they have stability in their lives. This inspires me everyday to come to work and provide students with the best education I am capable of providing them.

My Project

I am asking for 50 pairs of headphones that can be utilized in our school computer lab as well as in classrooms. We currently have a computer lab featuring 24 desktop computers. Unfortunately, to go with these computers we only have about 10 pairs on headphones that actually work. Many times students are assigned work in the lab that is accompanied by some sort of video or audio component. I am not a math teacher but I know enough to know those numbers do not match and leave some students with out the proper tools to get the full learning experience.

With these headphones we will be able to provide our students with the quality education they deserve.

As a school we are moving more towards digital based learning and having all of the necessary accessories to go with the technology is an important part in making sure it is a success.
