Every day I get to go into a classroom full of wonderful students who work really hard to become successful. In their day to day lives they don't have much, but when they come to school a whole world is open to them

When I told my 8th graders that we would be learning about the Solar System I could barely get my lesson taught the way I wanted to, they were so full of questions and what if's! I was so excited that I spent the entire hour of class answering their wonderful questions and trying to help them understand what was going on in the sky above their heads!

The purchase of the solar system model will really help my students understand the basic workings of the solar system and what role we as humans play in the galaxy that we live in. Who knows, maybe someday two or three, or all of them will be the first pioneers to visit Mars!

Your help in getting the model for us will make is possible for my students to learn about the world outside of the classroom, in fact they will be learning about the places beyond this world!
