My students are creative, diverse, and hard working. They inspire me to be a better teacher, just as I try to inspire them to be their best!
The majority of my students qualify for free and reduced lunch and live in poverty-stricken areas.
My students are from all different backgrounds and have a wide range of needs and talents. Despite the challenges they face outside of school, they all come to school with a positive attitude and ready to learn!
My Project
My students need some of the bare necessities to get us through the rest of the school year! My classroom does not receive frequent donations of things like tissues, Clorox wipes, pencils, and lined paper due to the high poverty area that we live in.
My students need tissues and Clorox wipes to get through our days.
Several students have been sick, and we need to be able to wipe down our desks and tables to keep students healthy and in school! We also need lined paper and pens so that students can continue to show their work and do their best!
Having candy in the classroom keeps students motivated and engaged! When students make good choices or clip up to purple on our behavior chart, they earn a piece of candy!
