Help me give my students the materials needed to help create a calm and relaxing classroom environment that will help to promote their social emotional growth.

My Project

I have 13 awesome, creative, down to earth, kindergarten students! They deserve the best and I try hard to give it to them! From the activities that we do daily right down to the classroom environment; they all play a role in my students' growth!

Creating an environment that will help to foster my kindergarten students' SEL (social-emotional learning) is a HUGE part of what I do!

When a person, especially a 5-year-old feels safe and calm they will be able to do their best all-around.

These materials will allow me to help create a more calming environment. The colored printer and ink will allow us to create colorful posters and charts. Color helps to create a more attractive environment for little kids. The fluorescent light covers will help to defuse the bright tense light. The fish tank and ocean wave projector will help to bring a calming sound background as well as be a beautiful visual for my students. And the fidget toys will help give my students something to help calm their hands and bodies.
