My Students

I teach a classroom of energetic and eager to learn first graders. Each day is new and exciting to them and they are ready to go every morning. We pack a lot of learning and a lot of fun into each day!

I have a classroom of diverse learners with various abilities.

I want to create an environment that is welcoming and comfortable for them to learn, where I can meet all of their needs. Sometimes students need a little privacy when trying to complete their assignments.

My Project

Many times 1st graders complete their assignments as a whole or small group and everyone has the same answer. However, there are times when teachers need to assess a student's progress as an individual. The partitions help to keep students honest by allowing them to see their paper only. Sometimes students just prefer working within their own space and want privacy when they're trying to focus.

The partitions will provide the private space for students to focus and do their best.

They will also give me peace of mind that I'm assessing a student's true ability, rather than something that was copied from a neighbor.
