My students need science tools like 12 thermometers, 4 take-apart human body models, and 12 microscopes. They also need social studies resources such as a globe, and 3 states and capitals games to enhance their learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Go out and see the world! That is one piece of advice we give our children upon graduation. Many students are thrown into the world unprepared not knowing what to expect. The world is a grand place, but if our students know nothing about it how can they be successful?
My students are very unique and one of a kind, each with their own little personalities that keep me going everyday.
We are a small charter school in Texas serving underserved students and community.
Many of our students do not have the necessary means to be prepared for class. Luckily we were blessed to receive the basic school supplies for the majority of our students. They were very grateful and the parents were thankful for those who gave to their children.
My Project
I have requested science tools like thermometers, take-apart human body models, prepared slides for the microscope, and microscopes. I have also requested social studies resources such as a globe, social studies books, and states and capitals games to enhance my students' learning.
All of these activities and resources will keep the interest of the students longer and keep them motivated to find the correct answers. The science materials will introduce science tools to students that they have never been exposed to, and make the students more eager to learn how to use each tool.
The social studies resources will help the children learn about their country and their environment and how things are run in our society.
Science and social studies are an integral part of our educational system.
We are shaping young minds to become doctors, lawyers, and scientists.
By donating to this project, the knowledge that my students get now using these resources will enable them to become the professionals they long to be in the near future.
